Laser Cut Case Design
I've designed a see-thru laser cut case to hold the electronics and PSU for the Liteplacer. It uses a large 24V 15A PSU with standard mounting pattern, so can be adapted to a PSU you have on hand easily if it's smaller. Includes all the SVG files (can be edited in Inkscape) and uses strain reliefs t...

FET Board
I've created a simple board in Eagle for the Pump and Solenoid FETs. Single sided and suitable for creation on an Othermill, home etching or ordered on OSHPark. http://imgur.com/download/8FX3blr http://imgur.com/download/H5Y0jtW Order on OSHPark: https://www.oshpark.com/shared_projects/3hCeefM

Re: Optical Homing Problem
This is something I haven't seen before. The camera image is supposed to always fill the box. In the screenshot, you only got the upper left quadrant. This indicates that it is a camera or USB issue. Try robust camera mode or another USB connector. I'm sorry I don't have better answers right away. ...

[SOLVED] Optical Homing Problem
Screen Shot 2017-04-30 at 11.04.51 AM.png I'm having some issues with optical homing. Same thing happens on the 26/4/17 and 4/4/17 versions. Dot is setup and recognized, the issue seems to be with the "Draw Box" on the Setup Camera screen on startup being offscreen when switching between ...

[SOLVED] Homing twice crashes the machine
Pressing the home button the first time, homes, hits the limit switches and backs off the limit switches correctly. If I move the X/Y axis via F6/F7, then press Home again, everything works correctly.... However if I Home after I've homed (i.e. with no movement inbetween), Y & Z home correctly, ...

Thoughts about diffuser
I've been thinking about the diffuser on the downward camera. Image quality is typically poor on anything reflective / glossy, e.g. OSHPark boards, largely irrelevant of the amount of diffusion applied. For example, tried multiple diffusers and paper and all don't provide a good image. However the s...

Best ESD Mat
What do people recommend for the ESD mat? Black, white, blue, green, grey? Does blue or green interfere less with the camera image recognition? Also any good ones that don't create texture issues? Brands?
