Re: Spring loaded adapter affecting nozzle height calibratio
Hi Juha, Thanks, that does makes sense. The adapter force is only just enough to push the limit switch in though, let along the friction of the bearings etc. But I've retuned the bearings as best I can, and it is now fairly consistant on the nozzle calibration at least. But I am still having a small...

Spring loaded adapter affecting nozzle height calibration
With the new nozzle kit installed, the force required to compress the nozzle adapter spring seems to be about the same as the force required to push the tube up and trigger the z probe switch. Consequently, sometimes the nozzle spring compresses first, and sometimes the tube spring compresses first,...

Re: No Go Zones when using Nozzle Changer
Initially my z limit switch was a bit high (triggered early), and as such, even if the nozzle was up it would have been able to crash into the holder (specifically the nuts), but I thought I'd be able to avoid crashes by being careful. needless to say, I had a few close calls and soft crashes (mainl...

Re: Short Tip for Update Kit Assembly
I found the same when fitting the tube. It was quite sticky (up/down and turning) until I did up the fasteners in a particular order. For me, the order was: - slightly loosen the bearing fasteners and the four fasteners that hold the top bearing plate, just enough to allow movement. - make sure the ...

Re: Simple Wiring Diagram for wiring direct to Tiny G
Hi Juha,
I think the outputs for the pump and the solenoid are reversed in this diagram.
Caught me out for a little while, but it's the only fault I could find after 2 days of blindly following your instructions!
Regards,
Tim
