Re: Exporting the Settings of Liteplacer-Software
I had the problem, that the software makes a new folder with every build. So I always save my xml-file "user.config" and copy it into the new directory to have all my calibrations in the new build.

Re: Exporting the Settings of Liteplacer-Software
At my computer it is the folder C:\Users\-yourusername-\AppData\Local\LitePlacer_Inc._(Kuusama_ (Well chosen name btw ;-) Now there is a file "user.config" with all the settings. Copy that folder after installation of the software If there is no user.config, you will see some cryptical nam...

Re: Wood-Placer
I have M1.6 screws on my tape holders
A really good idea, sad enough, my tape holder are not high enough for that, only 4mm room.
I now use PS-strips in several thicknesses.

Re: rmod (ver2) help please
But it makes detection better, it eliminates small reflections from the plastic tape. I will see if I can change the algorithm in only using it on a single frame. I tried that filter out on a clear tape which i made black with a marker. That makes detection much easier, but the light reflects heavy ...

New idea for better Hole-Detection
I came across a new idea yesterday, maybe that would make hole detection on tapes more reliable. I often have problems with holes on plastic tapes, when the tape is not perfectly straight some light is mirrored by the glossy plastic, which confuses the software. Now I came across an idea, to place a...

Re: rmod (ver2) help please
Jason, I saw that the opencv gaussian blur function makes my framerate go down very strong, do you know if that is opencv-related?
I have a very fast computer, but as soon as I use gaussian blur I only have a fps of 1-2 frames / second left.

Re: If there are no fudicials
Did you try to change the camera filter? You should change that until the software detects a circle where your via is.

Re: rmod (ver2) help please
Jason, your Idea with blurring the image was great, I just added a blur-filter to my processing pipeline, and now most problems with hole detection are gone! @Juku, you should add a blur filter to the standard version too, it really make detection of black tapes better. The rmod-release also has a p...
