I got a new square to set the squareness up of the machine. It has improved somewhat with the Y axis landing spot on just about every time.
However the X axis seems to 0.1mm out in each direction on either end.. To far - towards the - end and too far + towards the + end.

Re: Kabsch algorithm
I just found there are 2 different functions. Recompute and Recompute2 in the LeastSquaresMapping file. I changed LeastSquaresMapping() to us Recompute() instead of Recompute2() and the errors are still the same.

[Solved] Kabsch algorithm - was calibration issue
I'm using Resa 0.4 mod. I cannot seem to get placement on my panel correct. I have double checked my fiducial locations and match them up to the physical PCB and component locations using digital calipers. I use 3 fiducial at 3 corners of my panel. Optical homing on them is smooth and clear. Machine...

Knas, Yes I'm running a job every third day or so on it. Only made minor changes to the newest 0.4 version. My camera's stay connected for day's until I reboot. I would check there first.

Re: Pickup Tube
OK. I think I have worked out my issue. Needle wobble doesn't seem to be taken into account all the time. I'm using the Reza mod, not sure if it's an issue only in the resa mod. Removing all the wobble in the needle has fixed the issue for now. I'm going to look over the source and see whats missing...

Pickup Tube
I'm trying to work out why the machine is inconstant with it's needle location. I noticed some play in the Linear Bearings. I found the 8mm Steel tube is only 7.8mm. I haven't worked out how to best reduce the play yet so I can't tell if it's the root of my issue. I's this piece undersized or is tha...

Re: Problem with vacuum
Replace the FET with another N channel of enough current. I used P55NF06L I had laying around.

Re: My building Experiance.
Your FETs are broken (I assume that you have checked the connections and that the TinyG does drive the gate from 0 to 3.3V). It could be static, or they could be faulty start with. You might get replacements locally faster. Anyway, please get in touch with me for replacements or refunds. I addresse...

Re: How to improve up cam image contrast
Doesn't the CameraExposure Filter in Rezas version override this ? The main reason I changed to his version.
Red LED's. I'm going to try that..

Re: LitePlacer-rmod Updates
I'm keen to contribute. I have a few ideas I want to add and I would like to share it back. I have also made a few changes locally for stability. I don't mind how it's done, SVN, git. Just need to work out a way for those of us actively working on it.
