Re: Can't place components

Does this problem consistently happen with other component tapes as well? How are you tuning your limit switch? On mine, I can significantly change how much travel the Z axis has against the spring before the limit switch is activated. When the problem occurs, do you actually hear the limit switch b...

Re: Can't find fiducials

Your "Homing" and "fudicials" can use different video processing settings, as well as your "components" and "tapes". Once you set the working combination of algorithms in the table, you can click "copy here" to each of your desired functions separate...

Re: Add-ons: feeders

So seeing is believing... could you show the second phase where you pick up your parts from the gel-pack and place them on your PCB? I think that this is a very nice demonstration of part recognition and placement. The algorithms are there, so you wouldn't necessarily need to go from random spill t...

Re: clever scheme for electrical contact with needle?

Have you tried an anti-static spray on the parts that are non-conductive? This wouldn't help you with your future homing/probing tricks. But it might create enough of a dissipative layer between the conductive and non-conductive parts to prevent the static accumulation.

Re: Beta for new software

Very nice! I'm halfway through the mechanical build and I'm looking forward to start playing with the electronics soon. This is exciting news to see enhanced features ready to go before I even finish building!
