Goede middag Wil,

welcome to the forum :-)

Have you already ordered the kit from Juha? That is by far the easiest way to source all the parts, especially all the custom laser-cut steel plates.

Shop here:
http://www.liteplacer.com/shop20/

I recommend you also get the drag chains for easier cable routing.

You still have to provide a few additional items:
  • Power supply: 24V DC, >5A
  • Cables and wires
  • Connectors, termination blocks, ferrules and other cabling accessories
  • Drag chains or other cable management
  • Enclosure for electronics
  • Reset/kill/safety switch and its mount
  • Work table, screws to secure to machine to it
  • Computer
  • Tools
You will find lots of suggestions for these items on the forum - I have recently put a lot of suggestions in a post:

Feel free to post additional questions to which you don't find the answer using the search function and reading a few threads :-P

Once you get the kit, follow Juha's excellent instructions to put it together:

Many people have enhanced their LitePlacer's; these mods include different cameras, modified or replaced vacuum pumps, cabling and cable routing, pick and place head, customized software etc.

It is probably best to establish a baseline first and get the original LitePlacer to work before you change it around, just my two cents.

Good luck and have fun!

Best regards
Malte
