Needle shades / no hot glue

I have just "assembled" my pickup needles and the think of using hot glue to hold the shades in place was not appealing to me so I though why not use super glue.

I first pushed the needle through the shade to create the "mounting" hole and then I dabbed a little super glue on the base where the needle meets the plastic and pushed the shade to the base and voila, it holds in place with no cumbersome hot glue gun action and looks clean too.
