Take the Luer Lock, and press it to one end of the pickup tube (200mm long, 8mm diam., not labeled):
The joint is airtight enough, but optionally, seal the joint with some black heat shrink tubing. Don’t have the heat shrink too much up to the tube, a couple of mm’s is enough (you don’t what to limit the Z axis upward range unnecessarily).
