Re: Integrated stepper motor
Hi guys, I've found some time and tried to run integrated stepper. I was in California last month and purchased it directly from AMT. I will try to install it on machine in a few weeks. I just managed to test it on Arduino and record a short video. Connected it to Liteplacer TinyG step and direction...

Re: Placing bigger chips
Thanks for the link.
I totally missed it. So there is no vision for the tray chips, you need to make a jig to be very precise. I plan too CNC jig with the holes so that I can use the vision make sure that the jig is in the right place.

Placing bigger chips
Hi guys I am planning a first job on the Liteplacer. I created a trays for tapes. Tested the placement from tapes to test boards and 0603 placement is good enough. I was setting it up last night and came to TQFP44 chip. It is essentially 12 x 12 mm chip. I 3D printed the tray to hold the chips but I...

Re: Integrated stepper motor
Cheers. Thanks for this input. All I need is to get reliable 700 0603 pcs/hr. I've ordered the integrated servo/stepper from AMT and plan to install it in few weeks. Also, I have ordered 1.8 deg stepper from AMT with a little bit more torque. I just started to play with machine and the motions I get...

Re: Integrated stepper motor
I'll buy one NEMA17 closed loop servostepper and then test it on a Y axis. Only problem is that I need to pull the motor control signals directly off the tinyG board as in this link https://github.com/synthetos/TinyG/wiki/TinyG-Using-External-Drivers This is signal directly from the MCU so some isol...

Integrated stepper motor
Hi guys I plan to replace the NEMA17 steppers with these integrated steppers: http://americanmotiontech.com/products/productdetail.aspx?model=ist-1706-nema-17-integrated-stepper-motor I think I could get at least 30% faster movements with this. These steppers should directly replace ones from the ki...
