LitePlacer for Sale - USA
Hey guys. The LitePlacer served me well, but I now have a much bigger (and more expensive!) PnP machine. This is in great condition still and has been sitting for about 9 months unused. I need to move it into storage for now, but I took a quick video and some pictures before putting it away. I'd lik...

Good double-sided tape brand?
I've been struggling a bit to keep my plastic component tapes firmly in place on the table. The paper tapes stick great to my tape, but the plastic tapes lose their grip after a few hours. This is the tape I've been using: http://www.duckbrand.com/products/office-mounting/invisible-tapes/double-side...

Re: 3d printed 8mm paper tape hold down tray
How much does something like this cost to get printed? Where can someone get this printed that doesn't have a printer? I finally got my machine running and I am going crazy trying to fight this double-sided tape. It is around 45F in my workplace right now and the plastic tapes just don't stick to it...

Re: New software, Nov. 9: Improving(?) camera switching
This seems to be working well for me. I don't have any problems calibrating the needle anymore, and there is no delay when you click the switch button. Windows 10 64-bit with an ~2.6 ghz mobile Core i7 dual-core processor. No extra slowdown experienced.

Re: Cameras keep getting disconnected
I also had this problem with the included cameras. Often times I would have to run a needle calibration twice for the camera to switch over. I replaced them both and haven't had any more problems.

Re: Some doubts and problem with picking and placing compone
I now have both camera systems working excellent. The C270 as an up camera is awesome and the image it produces is excellent. The resolution on the needle and consistency of the circle detection is excellent. I can now pick up parts in any rotation, but the positioning still isn't right on and when ...
