i figured it out...
reset factory defaults BOTH OF THEM
motors had whack settings.
belts needed tightening.
just need a new rotation motor.
onward and upward, to infinity and beyond...

post build, setup and calibrations HOMING
I'm curious of the roughness in the homing of the liteplacer axes. The z axis homes, hits switch backs off, as expected. The X and Y homing is a bit violent. Each axis will be driven to the limit switch, and that gets activated, and then the backing off occurs. It just seems that it is extra shakey ...
