Re: Connection problems
M115 is an instruction asking the board to report on its firmware. The stock tinyg does not support this instruction.

Re: Software release 18/06/2021 ** most recent **
Does the new software have the ability to adjust the placement location based upon the vision results of the component to be placed? My results today suggest that any offset measured in X and Y seem to be compensated, but in A (angular error) does not seem to be removed.

Re: Release candidate for new software version, 20.05.2021
I have set up the new release candidate and I am quite happy with it thus far. I spent some time just figuring out some things that were probably pretty obvious, such as needing to select the vision algorithm where it was previously automatically selected, and adjusting to the acceptable size range ...

Re: OpenPNP vs LitePlacer update
I am looking to improve the placement accuracy and OpenPnP supports a range of feeders that LitePlacer currently does not without modifying the source. Liteplacer SW is usable and much easier to get started with. I am low-volume manufacturing and I have a tremor so nudging parts is not good for my p...

Re: OpenPNP vs LitePlacer update
I am switching from the Liteplacer software to the OpenPNP version. The Liteplacer SW is easier to set up and get going - arguably it makes it easier to work out all the bugs in your build before moving to a different software. I am hoping to achieve better accuracy with the bottom camera functional...

Re: Speed of placement
Marko, consider using Loctite GC10 paste, it will take much more than a couple hours to dry out to the point that it will not provide good reflow results. I have been using this paste for over a year and am very happy with it.

Re: Unable to home
It may be that the optical home mark needs to be moved closer to where the Liteplacer expects to find it.
