I have had the best luck using Scotch Double Sided Permanent Tape. It comes on a yellow spool. It holds the tapes down well and also makes it easy to remove tapes for replacing.

Slack compensation
Is there a test I can perform to determine if I need to enable slack compensation?
How should the belts be tensioned to eliminate the need for slack compensation?
Thank you!
