Thank you!
Do you think the cause of this problem could be solved another way, maybe it is a static problem and I can do something to ground the machine better or something? I am worried about contaminating the components for other boards if I do get this product on them.

Components sticking to nozzle
When we are picking up components (such as 0805 ferrite beads) they are staying attached to the nozzle tip when they should be placed. The vacuum pump and solenoid valve will release and even with no air pressure holding the component on it will stay. We have tried blowing ionized air directly over ...

Re: Attempt to move outside safe limits
JuKu is correct I was using the liteplacer without doing the nozzle setup. I resolved the problem of getting an error message 'attempt to move outside safe limits (X 6888.......)' the exact error message is in an image in the beginning of the thread above. It was resolved once I did the nozzle setup.

Re: Attempt to move outside safe limits
Great, thank you!
I did the nozzle setup and it fixed my problem. I'm no longer getting the error message. The help has been greatly appreciated.

Re: Attempt to move outside safe limits
Great, thank you.
I attached the log contents and my liteplacer directory.
Please let me know if I have attached the wrong information as I am still new to working with the liteplacer.

Re: Attempt to move outside safe limits
Thank you JuKu, Alhigh, and Volter.
I could not upload the "LitePlacer.TapesData_v2" file.
I took images of my tape parameters, does this give enough information?

Attempt to move outside safe limits
I am practicing with the "Hello World" job, however I am having this problem with any job I run. After the liteplacer focuses on the hole for the first tape it displays the error message below, 'Attempt to move outside safe limits...' Does anyone have an idea as to what might be wrong? Any...

Re: Tape positions
Thank you KeithM and JuKu,
I was able to make some progress with this information. I can now get the liteplacer to go above the tape position. However, it stops and reads: Optical positioning can't find feature.
Any advice on how to get past this?

Tape positions
I am a bit new to using the liteplacer and it's software. After my computer crashed I've been starting from scratch. I have it doing the fiducials but I can't get it to go to a tape position and pick or place anything. I also can't find any directions online, can anyone help me?
Thank you!
