Re: Is it possible to do a move before pickup?

Ok perfect will do.

BTW FYI emojis from my iPad cause errors posting on the forum.

I found this info which is the fix.

It looks like the problem is an old version of mysql and new ios5 emoji.

The fix is to upgrade to mysql 5.5 with utf8mb support ( or change to BLOB?)

Is it possible to do a move before pickup?

Hi All,

I’m trying to test a feeder that needs the nozzle to go down to press a leaver before picking a part.

Is this possible in liteplacer?

I can’t see how to do it in the documents.

Any help greatfully received.

Any news on up camera support for alignment

Hi all,

I’m having a few problems with rotation of a ds18b20 in 8 pin usop format.

Is there any way to get LP to use the up camera for correction ?

If not is this in the pipeline for development ?

Kind regards
Robert

Thank you

Hi JuKu,

I have cursed you, swore at you, and everything else.

Today I love you.

I have picked and placed my first 8 boards today that took me 8 hours by hand and 15 mins by Liteplacer.

Thank you so much for making this machine and I can confirm it places 0402’s beautifully.

Manual Cycle Through The Nozzle Pickup

I might be missing something but how can I cycle through manually the moves for load and unload of the nozzle. If I use the relative option it keeps lifting the nozzle even though I have it ticked to move with nozzle down at the top of the screen. Is there a way to do this that I am missing

Re: Issues with scaling on new software

So I have figured it out. It was the distance traveled per revolution. Any one know where these values are or how they can be measured for each axis?

Issues with scaling on new software

Hi I seem to be having a problem with the scale here. The dot is 5mm in diameter but I if I set the pixels 4.4mm which is the size of the box it is way out. I have to set to 0.3mm and 0.35mm.

Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong here?

Re: V Groove Wheels

Thanks AnalysIR well spotted.

Juku. Thanks for the link I’m in the UK so that works well for me. Hope you’re mending quickly.

Keep well one and all.

Re: V Groove Wheels

Hi AnalysIR

Yeah I found lots of those, but the profile on those is like two Vs.

The ones I got with the liteplacer are flat with a single groove in the middle. |_/\_| rather than \/\/ if that makes any sense at all.
