Re: Openpnp
Found the correct command to send to tinyg to get vacuum reading, $ADC0. I can read the values the same way the youtube video shows, but it does not stop or give a warning when there is no part on the nozzle. Looks like the ADC reading is taken before the pick. No part on nozzle value is around 2600...

Re: Openpnp
Hi,
I'm running my Liteplacer with OpenPNP and it works great.
Only thing I miss is vacuum sense that I had on the modified Liteplacer software and tinyG firmware.
Anyone knows what I need to do to get the vacuum sensor to work with OpenPNP?

Re: Tape Strip Holders
Hi,
have followed this thread for a while now, I think this looks really promising.
Found some old 3d files, are the latest version available for download?

Re: Openpnp
I got it working now, I had to reverse the Z-Motor with $3po=1 (Default in liteplacer is $3po=0) Then, you need to exchange the Z-Limitswitches of the Liteplacer, move the probe switch as limitswitch, and put the Limitswitch as Probe-Switch. Also, you need to change the tinyG-Settings for the Z-Lim...

Re: Better nozzle with auto change?
What about an analog spdt switch controlled by one of the digital pins on the tinyg to just switch of the connection between the board and limit switch.. Can use one of the unused digital outputs,

Re: Better nozzle with auto change?
Thanks for the information. Will order a set of nozzles now.
The nozzle changes looks great.
Would be great if you could share the CAD files.

Re: Better nozzle with auto change?
Would it not be possible to disable the z limit switch from in software when changing the nozzle? You could use an analog switch controlled by one of the digital outputs on the tinyg card. Sorry for being a bit slow, but I don not understand the sizes of the tips. N08 is 1.5*0.8, this means that OD ...

Re: Better nozzle with auto change?
Did you order the entire sett of nozzles? I use mostly 0603 some 1206 and sot23 parts. What type of nozzle models should I buy? The play in your misumi parts, are they from the shaft OD less than 8mm or bearing OD greater than 8mm? What is the reason for auto nozzle change not working with the CP40 ...

Re: Better nozzle with auto change?
There was .15mm air, far too much. The nozzle holder is from Aliexpress, it has a M5 thread and fits perfect to the axis from misumi. It is a Samsung CP40 nozzle holder. It has a fairly strong spring inside. Do you have a link to the seller and did it come with the the nozzles? Just about to order ...
