LitePlacer is closing

Unfortunately, I am forced to early retirement due to my health issues. I am keeping the site up for documentation and support for now. I do have some spare parts and accessories in my warehouse still. Not all of those are listed on my store, so if you need anything, please contact me. Thank you all...

Re: No results from "Components by Pads"

You want to decrease the acceptable size for both on the filter features and on the acceptable size. Finally, pick either by pads or by outline; if you select both, you get multiple results. That will fail when actually used, the final result should be unique.

Re: No results from "Components by Pads"

Add "filter features by size" , so that the search sees only the pads. Please re-read https://liteplacer.com/up-camera-assisted-placement/ about this. Without this, the small blob under the part gets included, and that causes the result to be outside the acceptable size.

Re: X-axis offset

It does seem that the issues are either slack in the bearings and/or wobble on the nozzles. Any slack in bearings is supposed to be taken off by the tension of the rotation belt in x direction and by the flat spring in y direction. There should not be much to begin with. You can check this by hand; ...

Re: X-axis offset

There are several calibration parameters that can affect this. There are also tools to find out what the issue might be. At first, it might be beneficial to disable nozzle runout (wobble) correction. You do that on Run Job page, "Don't use nozzle correction" checkbox. If your system doesn'...

Re: Repeatability more than 1mm offset after 2 times TestXY?

The test functions are simple: If the machine is at home mark, the machine is moved at machine limit set at machine size boxes. If machine is elsewhere, it is moved to zero. Apparently you have some slack in your system. Please check that the pulley set screws are tight and the belt attachments are ...

Re: Repeatability more than 1mm offset after 2 times TestXY?

The moving parts are so light that the motors are unlikely to skip. If they are driven too hard, they tend to stall, and that is easy to notice. More likely, something is skipping. Please look at the bolts that fix the parts that connect to the belt and tighten if needed, including the motor fixing ...
