Re: ebay auto feeder- feasible?
Found these semi-auto 3d-printable feeders. Does not require additional electronics for most part, any chance for support (moving the head to latch the next part)? https://github.com/alexavr2/alexfeeder I believe these are perfect for what this PnP is for. Costs close to nothing to make (if 3D print...

Re: Cable chains issue / first element gives way
Had exact same issue on the granty side, just wedged a long screw in-between granty metal pieces and it sort of works fine

Re: Camera gets cropped
Doesn't really work that well, if you have 2 USB port laptop. However, what I found is that if you use older USB hub with additional power supply, all works as expected.

I had an issue where one of the camera's would be cropped by some reason. Like in the image below:
It turns out, it was caused by my USB hub, if I connected those cameras directly, they worked just fine.
Just thought someone might find this useful in future.

Problem was solved by turning down power for that motor.

Z axis making odd sound
Nice, forum crashed when I tried to upload video first time, so here is a second attempt. I am experiencing some really nasty noise from Z motor (Motor 3), tried different speeds and acceleration, but it seems to only go away at very low speeds (200). All other axis seem to work just fine with reaso...

Re: Cable Chains Installation Issue
Just faced the same problem, limit switches not reaching their position when cable chain is installed. My workarounds are shown below:
