Re: Optical Homing Error and X position reporting wrong
That's weird, that it will only apply it when the next move command happens. Instead of moving the X axis slightly wouldn't it be better to lift and then lower the z axis if it is lowered (or lower and lift the z axis if it is at Z0) This would prevent people from manually controlling the machine, a...

Re: Optical Homing Error and X position reporting wrong
I set the squareness correction to 0 and it appears to be working correctly right now. I'm still going through all of the calibrations but I haven't been able to get the X value to go to an insanely large value. One thing I am wondering about is why when I turn the pump on or off the head wants to m...

Re: Optical Homing Error and X position reporting wrong
Machine homed mechanically, and jogged a couple of times using the number pad. Lite placer is now reporting the X value to be 23886666666666700000000000000.000 (INSANELY HUGE NUMBER!) Re: Optical Homing Error and X position reporting wrong
I will next time I am at that office. I'm not sure when that will be, I'm working between two offices and the schedule is very unpredictable.

Optical Homing Error and X position reporting wrong
Hello, I am unable to get past the optical homing step during set up. I can successfully get my homing dot to register (magenta circle) in the preview window. When I click measure I get an x and y value, but after doing the mechanical homing i keep getting errors. First error is the TinyG error. Rev...

Re: What is your screen resolution?
Running 1360 x 768 on the desktop we have to run the software and the software does not completely fit onto the screen. Sadly this is the highest windows will allow me to set the resolution.
