I’m interested in this. It looks like an interesting solution. I’ve been working on a close stacking system that is designed to be low cost, mechanically simple and durable. I just haven’t got as far as you.
Can anything be done to decrease the width of the slices so they can stack closer together?

LitePlacer software installs and runs on the current MacOS under Windows 10 Pro on Parallels 15. I don't have a LitePlacer, but if I did, it looks like everything would work normally.

That said, ability to recover from errors is the most requested feature, implying keeping count what components are placed and what are not. That's a bit of bad design by the TinyG people. The heat mainly comes out of the tab, and if the tab faces the edge of the PCB the heat spreads and reflects back, causing a hotter spot. They just should rotate that part 180 degrees so the tab was 12 mm further inboard and the device would right away...
