Scratch that brick power supply. One of the reviewers tested their supply with a programmable load and found it collapsed around 4.5A, which isn't a huge surprise given how cheap chinese stuff gets spec'd. I am planning on a different vacuum pump, I have some samples of high reliability quiet medical pumps at work rated up to about 24inHg. Has anyone used a laptop style brick power supply instead of the open chassis type like meanwell?
