Re: Using 3d printed part holders
For real use, you probably want to ironing on the surface that is visible through the holes - or not, “kill color” vision processing function might work well on that color. I didn’t have any suitable filament with that bright color to try.

Re: Current Shipping Time
Yes, I try to keep the availability estimates correct, and on the pessimistic side. I just got a problem solved, so this might be sooner. I'll know better when I work on the warehouse a few days.

Re: informations request
Hi, Thank you for your interest to my machine! > liteplacer pick and place reliabily small components as I needed? Yes, well tuned LitePlacer can reliably do 0402s and I firmly believe that it can do BGAs as well. I have meant to experiment with PCBs with BGAs, print the image on a transparent sheet...

Using 3d printed part holders
I've experimented with 3d printed part holders, and this is what I use. I got the idea from the net somewhere, but I forgot to take a bookmark. But the idea itself was so simple, that I did not forget it. For proper credit, I'll appreciate a link to the origin of this. The basic idea is that a holde...

Re: New Electronic component feeders
The clear tape cover is partially removed from the tape but still fixed on one side, it stays with the tape and is fed out of the bottom with the tape. Neat idea, I don't recall seeing that before. I might have. Of course, I haven’t seen the details of this very neat project, but this detail sounds...

No, and I’m rather unlikely to design a dual (or more) nozzle head.

Re: BGA ?
Testing the accuracy on BGAs might be a challenge. But yes, I do believe that the accuracy is good enough if you use the visual processing to locate the part itself, not just the tape holes (either looking at the part on the tape or using the up looking camera assisted placement).

Re: Supported feeders
I had not seen this yet. Thank you for the link! And no, this kind of operation is not supported by LitePlacer software (yet). I already have on my "ideas to implement" list the ability to do a series of moves pre- or post pickup, similar to the nozzle change. Seeing this video, the priori...
