Re: Ovalized image
This is more than I see... I need to check if the camera supplier has made a change on the lens. Anyway, this should not cause issues. The measurement system will move and take another measurement if the result is not close to the center. Also, I will implement a software correction to this on a nea...

Re: Liteplacer rotation is causing a translation
This is odd, and I suspect something is loose. I can't really see a way how one rotation would cause position shift; a full rotation should get the nozzle to the same position it started. Do the other coordinates stay the same? (Perhaps the TinyG is some weird compensation mode...) Is the gantry sta...

Re: required power supply
I'm not actually sure what the real current requirement is. The control board has adjustable current limit, and that affects the maximum speed the machine can run. So, you can use 5A supply. You might find some limitation in maximum acceleration, though.

Re: Alternatives to TINYG Controller Board
Dear All, Greetings for the new year! I found a new Arduino Due version of Tiny G named Tiny G2 which seems compatible with Tiny G. Can someone confirm weather this can be used with Liteplacer (software). The link to G2 is : https://github.com/synthetos/g2 Thanks. -Rajesh Murthy. I don't believe th...

Re: homing algorthim
Discard distance is too small or pixel size is not set. When you set up the algorithm and “show processing” or “show results” indicate some features being recognized, the measurement process filters bad or spurious results. First by size (smaller (such as camera/processing noise) and larger results ...

Re: High definition camera update
So the issue has to do with the resolution. If the intention is to only support certain resolutions, then the default should not be to use the largest, and the notes should indicate which resolution is to be used. There was a bug. New (hopefully fixed) software was release today. Please see https:/...

Re: High definition camera update
Does the algorithm "Components by Pads" work with the up-camera. I cannot seem to get it to work at all. I have a diode and I am unable to come up with a way to recognize it with any combination of filters. I can get nice images of the two pads, and they show up as two rectangles. Compone...
