How tall is the unit? I hope to order soon and I've started to plan a workspace.

44 cm. If space is tight, you can squeeze 3 to 4 cm off from that by mounting the valve differently. On thehttp://www.liteplacer.com/introduction-f-a-q/ there is a picture of my prototype; the highest point is the tube from the valve to the cable chain, which the image cuts a bit off.
