Hi!
Yesterday I've received my LitePlacer and today I've almost built the mechanical structure!
I'm stuck here:
http://www.liteplacer.com/the-machine/a ... kerslides/
because the Y-bar cannot slide into the Frame due to the 5x25 bolts placed on the roller plates:

The bolt goes outside and touch the MakerSlides. I think I can easily fix reversing the direction of the bolt, placing the nut inside.
Anyway I'm wondering if there was something I'm missing!
Clarification about a building step
Re: Clarification about a building step
The bolts should point inside the machine. Please see the second picture on this page, it shows how (and why).

Perhaps I didn't understand your answer or I didn't explained it well.JuKu wrote:The bolts should point inside the machine. Please see the second picture on this page, it shows how (and why).

I attach a picture of how I mounted the bolts.
The problem is if I mount them as described in the docs they will knock into the MakerSlides because the screw side of the bolt is longer than the head one.

Actually, the problem is that I got a pack of mislabeled spacers, and did not check them when packing, nor did I notice the difference between 15.9mm and 12.5mm. My apologies for this! Your spacer is too short, my bad and I'm sorry about that, but happy about your creativity. With the correct length spacer, the bolt head does not reach the MakerSlide.
Apparently too late, as you need to take the machine apart quite much to be able to change the spacer, and your solution is fine. I'll be happy to send you correct length spacers, please get in touch (PM or email).

Oh, no problem at all! It works fine in this way.
It was just to understand whether I did something wrong
