Greetings,
Finally got started building the machine (yay!) and got a little stumped on step 3.2 (boo):

In short, the eccentric spacers' "lip" won't insert from that side of the plate but it will do so from the front (as seen in image from link above). And this is the case for both spacers with this plate.
I triple checked I had the orientation right, of course, and went on to the front gantry plate where I had no such issue with the eccentric spacers.
Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? I'm about to take a file to it before making certain I'm not just making a dumb mistake... Or maybe I can just flip the plate and invert the right and left side limit switches?

Most likely, there are some remains from the laser cut process. Some filing is ok and will not cause problems later.
