Measure every second hole on tape

I think there are related ideas on the wish list on GitHub...etc
Suggestion: when measuring hole position, it makes no sense to measure every hole. Why not just measure every second hole and infer the previous and next part from that measurement. This would reduce measurements by 50% and speed things up a bit. This would be remembered only during the currently active job & reset on pause/resume.
FYI: Existing related suggestions include:
- never measure 1st & last hole in case they are torn, which is common (So infer their position from the adjacent hole)
- if a hole measure fails try the adjacent hole(s) and infer the position
Apologies if this is a duplicate suggestion.
(still looking forward to bottom vision for parts recognition )
