Can't find fiducials

Post by akhilkollamvilakom »

Hi everyone.I am trying to do the "Hello World" project.I placed my printout on a PCB.Machine successfully done "optical homing" and "needle calibration",but during the process PCB measurement, machine shows "Optical positioning:can't find circle".(image1,2,3)

I also have a doubt about camera processing. http://www.liteplacer.com/camera-setup/ In "Down looking camera setup" page,it has been said that circle finding algorithm looks for a white circle on a dark background( i.e.,black homing mark) and it uses this technique to locate homing mark, right? you can see my settings for recognizing homing mark in the photos that I've uploaded(image 4 )

and I think it uses same technique to locate fiducials. But in "hello world" , the fiducial are white circles not dark. SO how can it locate the fiducials with the same settings for recognizing homing mark.Image 5

shows the camera processing of fid4.As you can see it is not showing any circles.
I turned off the "invert" to locate the white circle of fiducials in "hello world"(image 4) but when I did that machine couldn't find "Homing mark"( image 6 and 7)

Your "Homing" and "fudicials" can use different video processing settings, as well as your "components" and "tapes".

Once you set the working combination of algorithms in the table, you can click "copy here" to each of your desired functions separately. Modify the combination of algorithms for each function as needed.
