I was just wondering what the nominal values for the back-off and placement depth should be for the new nozzles in the upgrade kit.
The auto height calibration routine yielded a back-off value of 0.50. I tried adjusting the z-limit low switch to get the back-off greater than 1mm (as the documentation recommends), but I was unsuccessful. Do I need to play with the upper springs as well, with this new setup?
So my question is if the recommended backoff of 2mm is still valid for the CP40 nozzles?
I currently have a 0.50 backoff and placement depth of 0.25. I can't seem to place loose SOIC-8 parts without getting the z-limit switch to error out each time it tries to release onto the PCB.
Help please!

Why? This indicates that the tube up/(done movement is restricted somehow, maybe too tight rotation belt or the bearings need alignment.
