After weeks of research and reading I'm ready to pull the trigger on the liteplacer but I have one question I need to be clarified. I know that there's a FAQ and this topic I'm asking has partly been dealt with but after reading I'm still not 100% sure, the setup I want to use is possible, so here we go:
I have boards with usually 60 to 100 components, of which most are 0603 resistors. However, there are always a few TSSOP components and sometimes, but not often, QFN.
What I want to do, is automatically have the boards assembled within their 4x, 6x, 8xpanels, including the TSSOP. Would this be possible? I know there's a recommendation for a jig, but for me it is not clear, if the pickup of several IC works automatically, or If I need to "refill" the jigs after each IC manually.
Thanks for the answers guys!

Automatic Pickups for ICs (TSSOP, etc)

Welcome.
You can make a base like tape and place more elements on it.
Define spacing and direction.
It works for me.
