How do you handle SOIC chips from tubes?
How do you handle SOIC chips from tubes?
I'd like to hear your ideas, please!
Re: How do you handle SOIC chips from tubes?
Currently I move them from the tube to a 3D printed, custom tray.
If I needed larger volumes, I'd try to replicate Brian's vibratory feeder:

Nice idea, but what happens with the last remaining chip from a tube?mrandt wrote:Currently I move them from the tube to a 3D printed, custom tray.

As far as I can see the milled pickups do not vibrate. Are they slanted? But then the nozzle would suck air and eventually the chip would move.
