I am working on this step: Gantry Back Plate, Step 2: Lower V-Wheels
I have it all assembled and when I go to fit a MakerSlide rail between the V wheels I am never experiencing a loose fit, even with the eccentric adjusters all in the down position. The rail does fit but only when I give it a little push to fit it between the wheels. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

You might have the non-adjustable wheels so, that the small play in the mounting holes uses the adjustment range. You are supposed to have them little loose before adjustment. I think you are good, since the purpose of the eccentric spacers is to allow adjusting it to tight fit. Do check that the “shoulder” of the MakerSlide goes to the middle of the wheels V.
